Toulouse by Night

Eurovia, a Vinci subsidiary, saw one of its machines burn on the night of October 4th at the Arago Square gentrification site in Toulouse.

For several months, the construction sites of a business zone around the Matabiau station in Toulouse have been continuing with their vast enterprise of destroying old houses and districts. The TESO (Toulouse Euro Sud Ouest) project aims to reconfigure the city into a technological, police and tourist metropolis.

A gargantuan project that strangely enough involves the same companies that are building more and more prisons. Eurovia, a Vinci subsidiary, saw one of its machines burn down on the night of October 4th at the Arago Square gentrification site, extending the redevelopment of the entire area to accomodate these dynamic and flexible executives away from the yellow, black and green rages that converge.

Against TESO and the industries of mass destruction and for the freedom of the GJs (translation note: presumably referring to imprisoned ‘yellow vest’ protesters), let us take the opportunity to remind these machines that they are not welcome in our neighbourhoods.
