In the night between Saturday 12th December and Sunday 13th December 2015 at around 1:30am, a fire inside the enclosure of the Val-d’Oise prison in Osny damaged eight prison vans: some of the vehicles were partly destroyed, others partly burnt out but all were made unusable.
According to the press and the investigators the fire, which caused major damage, was set deliberately as the vehicles are not in use on Saturdays. Four people who were in the vicinity of the arson were stopped and questioned.
