The Loire region branch of the Front National (FN, French fascist party) made a complaint about its office being vandalised. The party nameplates were torn off and replaced with stickers saying “Racists out.” The FN branch had already had its shutters “trashed” before on 20 December. “We just regret that in these troubled times weak minds, moved by sectarian ideologies, attack our freedoms, including freedom of political opinion,” said the departmental secretary of the local National Front, Sophie Robert, in a statement released on Friday, January 9.
